  • The Ripple Center Underground 301 Minnesota Ave N Aitkin, MN (map)

Doors: 6pm | Show: 7pm

Join us for this rare solo show featuring John Cannon, the frontman, and Raina Wallace, the bassist and vocalist for the Lowdown Drifters, a hard living, hard loving and hard leaving group of Ft. Worth based musicians blending country, rock and Americana into a sound of their own; the epitome of a rock band with a fiddle problem. With heartfelt and sincere melodies crafted by Cannon, the Drifters live show is a high energy experience, highlighting their songs that capture the highs and lows of the human experience. The Drifters have been propelled to over 350,000 monthly listeners and 60 million total streams by their wildly successful album Last Call for Dreamers which has led them to share the stage with artists including Randy Rogers, Koe Wetzel, LeAnn Rimes and Zach Bryan. The Lowdown Drifters latest full length release, “In Time” was released in October of 2024 to critical acclaim resulting in the band being featured in Rolling Stone magazine and playing at the Ryman Auditorium with Shane Smith and the Saints. The Lowdown Drifters were awarded the Texas Music Association 2025 Americana Artist/Band of the Year.

Raina Wallace is a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist whose raw, emotive style blends the storytelling soul of country with the grit of Americana. For the past four years, she has toured as the bassist for The Lowdown Drifters, earning her stripes on the road and onstage, including a performance at the legendary Ryman Auditorium, opening for Shane Smith & the Saints. Raina recorded on the Drifters’ most recent album with renowned producer Wes Sharon (Turnpike Troubadours , John Fullbright) at 115 Studio, where she also wrote and sang the hauntingly honest duet “Awful Truth.”

Her talents as a writer extend beyond her own band—she co-wrote the Tanner Usrey single “Don't Let Go (Hold Me Close),” showcasing her versatility and emotional depth. Her voice can also be heard on duets with other artists such as Della Rose and Brennan Scott Greene.

With a voice steeped in heartache and hope, and a growing catalog of honest, witty, finely crafted songs, Raina Wallace is poised to leave a lasting mark.
